Key Skills:

• Expert knowledge about applying web content security requirements in APEX.
• Experience with Apex 23.2.
• Experience with Oracle Database 19c.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting business related applications/solutions primarily using Oracle Application Express (APEX)
• Work with the Analysis team to design & build APEX applications that optimize existing business processes.
• Gather and document requirements for APEX solutions.
• Document work and data flows of developed applications to ensure ongoing support can be provided.
• Provide Technical Support & Guidance.
• Perform detailed code reviews on peers' code when required.
• Adhere to secure coding standards, define project coding standards and styles.
• Work with the Analytics team to intake requirements from external groups and coordinate design and development of solutions geared towards process improvement.
• Managing day-to-day relationships with application users and developing an understanding of their business unit’s long-term business needs while translating that understanding into serviceable applications.
• Architect/design business solutions which allow ease of augmenting and enhancing such solutions in the future.
• Continuously enhance, tune, and optimize developed business solutions for efficiency and top performance gains.
• Keep abreast of technological advancements/changes in Oracle and related technologies.

Qualifications

• 8 years of Oracle APEX experience
• Bachelor’s degree in IT related field preferred
• Capable of designing and building user friendly, modern looking Oracle APEX applications thinking about end-user experience and designing solutions to maximize user efficiency.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and willingness to seek out creative solutions.
• Ability to internalize the business need of a solution and build toward a functional goal.
• An awareness of data privacy, security concerns, and possible vulnerabilities.
• Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, responsible team-player.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Ability to work with a cross-functional array of teams, technical and non-technical.
• Experience developing Oracle APEX applications, Advanced PL/SQL and Database skills, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, CSS & HTML.
• Experience developing and integrating systems using REST APIs.
